He cry’s all the time and it does not get any better. I leave toys with him and chews. Do i say anything to calm him down when i put him in or just shut the door and walk off ? Also how do i act when returning ?

It is normal for a puppy to protest the crate, don’t engage him. Put the crate by the bed, leave the night light on so the puppy can see you and be reassured you have not abandon him. An old tee shirt with your scent might help, carrots for teething, play a soothing cd or radio. When you leave, say "not this time" It is only 1 hour for each month of age with puppies, so a two-month-old puppy can only be alone/hold his potty for two hours at the most. Set a timer or alarm and get up and take the puppy out to potty. When you come home, don’t make a fuss and get the puppy excited, come in set your keys and stuff down and then take the puppy out to potty.

We cannot really even afford 100.00 because we are both full time college students. He is aggressive with our baby ie: tries to jump on him and lick him and growls and barks at him. Where should I look for free or really, really low cost training? Maybe a student trainer?

You have a need that isn’t going to be addressed by $100 petsmart training and they are about the cheapest (both in price and quality) that you will ever find.
